3D User  Interface - Introduction
The 3d user interface offers a 3-dimensional view of the web site or parts of it. Pages are represented by their thumbnail images and users by their icons. The observer can watch users hopping around between pages while they are browsers the web site. vrmlui-XXx200.jpg (13313 Byte)
The 3d user interface is based on VRML. It uses the EAI (External Authoring Interface) in Java offered by some VRML-players. A Win32 native version of the 3d user interface is also under development.

The 3d user interface is almost complete. However, it can not be released, because available VRML-players with EAI-support are not yet stable enough. A preview is already available:
     1. you need the Cosmo 2.0 VRML player and Java enabled. Then
     2. please click here to open the display. You won't see anything unless you...
     3. click here to go to the web site. However, you will propably be alone there.
